OUGD601 - Practical / Flag - Introduction

With a sophisticated campaign developed to utilise the theory discussed in my essay I began looking at the deliverable that feeds directly into this campaign. Creating a tangible symbol of the movement created an initial brainstorm as to what form this should take, which concluded the form of a flag would be an interesting form to produce as part of the campaigns collateral. Flags are strongly associated with a sense of national identity and travel, therefore this is an appropriate form to develop into the projects resolution. Using this physical object to create a tangible symbol of the campaign and brand itself helps to visualise the abstract nature of the concept, this will be particularly useful within the 'wander travel diaries' campaign to clearly link social influencers to the brand through this clear visual link.
